Para la generación de mapas estelares, pulso astral utiliza catálogos muy precisos sobre la ubicación de los astros y sus movimientos, lo que permite proyectar donde han estado y donde estarán ubicados. Esto es astronomía pura y simple. La interpretación que las personas puedan dar a la posición de las estrellas no está dentro de nuestras competencias.
Hipparcos fue un proyecto de la Agencia espacial europea y el nombre del satélite lanzado en 1989 que durante 4 años se dedicó a medir la posición y los movimientos de más de 2.500.000 estrellas. A partir de esta data se generó el catálogo Tycho, que usamos para crear las imágenes en nuestros mapas estelares
